Wednesday October 17th.

It’s me self referencing myself! What you see here is a picture of my monitor at work. I have my Pocket PPC (HTC Apache) hooked up to the computer which is displaying live B/W video from the phone. The video is of me and my new camera taking a picture of phone and video feed. Confused yet?

Oh yeah, my new camera! The main reason I started 365ing again yesterday was the fact that I finally bought a new point-and-shoot digital camera. While I really like the technical freedom offered by my SLR, It just can’t beat the spatial and opportunistic freedom of a camera the size of a small deck of cards. I’ve always loved the Canon Elph line of consumer cameras. The camera that really got me into photography was a 3.2mp Elph…I loved that camera! My new baby is a 7.1mp SD1000 Elph and so far, so good.

GET THIS: I ordered this camera from Amazon.com yesterday at 11:30am… I paid for shipping to try their "local express" delivery and lo-and-behold.. the camera was at my office by 3pm!! They actually messengered it to me directly from their distribution center. Talk about instant gratification!

Also: Today I met Ozzy Osborne downtown on 1st ave. That was random, cool and weird.
