Rick at work snagged one of these for 0 (MSRP = 9) on a Dell deal, and brought it in to show off yesterday. Here’s a shot with the lens extended, next to my Audiovox SMT5600 for scale. This isn’t a small camera, but when you look at its capabilities, it’s a monster. I REALLY want one.

Audiovox, to my surprise, owns quite a few companies. And their CEO is the head chairman of the CEA (Consumer Electronics Association).

This is a 640×480 pixel picture sent to flickr directly from my Pocket PC Audiovox VX6600 phone over the Verizon CDMA2000 (3G) broadband wireless network. The resolution is low, but the quality is quite good by, low, phone standards.
