In July 2011, Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Community Programs Office and Del Norte Credit Union held the "Zeus amd Buddy Say ‘Thanks’ Pet Supply Drive." The drive was held to thank area animal shelters who had taken in pets evacuated from Los Alamos during New Mexico’s largest wildfire, the Las Conchas Fire.
Here, Maggie, a Newfoundland belonging to LANL employee Nancy Ambrosiano, eyes donated pet supplies stored in Ambrosiano’s Mini Cooper.
