And today begins another new project. This one, I am calling, "In Your Shoes" – the idea to this, is I will be trying to find people of all "walks of life" and get a photo of their feet/shoes that best represent what it is they do. But only from about the knees down. From there, I hope that I can write a short bio either on the person, or the profession. I plan for this to be an on-going project – adding to it when I can but not dedicating myself to just this. As this is just the introductory teaser, there is no bio with this one – just shoes (and Ashley, of course).

Sometimes presenting something on the outside can help work its way to the inside. I’ve been feeling bad this week, so today i decided to wear red. Bold red, bright red, audacious red. And yes, that includes my red shoes. I love my Speedwell shoes. (I actually have two pairs; not the same color.) They’re made for racecar drivers, so they’re incredibly lightweight and flexible.
And red.
