How can I watch the movies stored on my pc on my tv without physically connecting the two?

I have movies saved on my computer, but I can’t hook my computer up to my tv. Is there a way I can connect to my computer through U-verse and watch my saved movies? Or is there another way I can watch movies from my computer on my tv?
